Welcome to Urban Palettes - a new series that showcases art and design culture across Canada through its people and spaces.

In our third Toronto episode, photographer Neva Wireko and Bobby Bowen take us on a tour of Toronto’s outdoor spaces that have been thoughtfully redesigned to provide cultural value to the city.

First we check out the Bentway, a sprawling new development underneath the Gardiner Expressway that will act as an art gallery, skate park, event space, and much more. Next, the pair gets out to the city to the beautiful East Point Bird Sanctuary, where modern design and natural landscape are mixing together for a tranquil experience.
